Heritage Speaker Series – P & LE Ohio River Railroad Bridge

Brkich presents the fascinating history of the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Ohio River Railroad Bridge. Come learn some surprising facts about this county landmark and how this “Iron Giant” helped alter the area’s fortunes and continues to serve it today. This event is Free and open to the public. Val is the author of over a dozen titles, including the booklet “A History of the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Ohio River Bridge,” which was published by the Beaver Area Heritage Foundation in 2005. Other books include The Secret of the Lost Amulet (2019) and Bigfoot Slept Here: A Partly True But Way More Exciting History of One Small Town (2019), both of which center around the history of Beaver.
